The UAS School of Education invites you to a reception and presentation by Dr. Tuija Turunen titled, It's not a miracle: Teacher education and teaching in Finland. The reception will offer light refreshments and begin at 5:30 pm and the presentation will follow at 6:00 pm on Monday, April 3rd.
A three-day conference was hosted by ADVOST project, from 6th to 9th February 2023. The conference brought together the ADVOST project team to explore a range of topics, including augmented and virtual reality devices, digital pedagogy, and the use of creative technology in educational spaces.
Tuija Turunen will give a talk titled "It's not a miracle: Teacher preparation and teaching in Finland" on Wednesday, March 22 at 4:30pm (GMT-8) at the University of Alaska Anchorage.

United Kingdom published new policy paper titled "Looking North: The UK and The Arctic. The United Kingdom's Arctic Policy Framework". The policy papers mention UArctic Thematic Network Teacher Education for Social Justice and Diversity as one of the connections between UK and the Arctic.
