The workshop "Árran (heart, fireplace) - The achievements, advancement and recognition of Saami education" was held online 16-17 April and it was hosted by the University of Lapland and Adjunct Professor, Dr. Pigga Keskitalo. The workshop was the second one in series of three workshops in the IPED project.
UArctic Congress 2021 programme is now published, including three sessions organised by the UArctic Thematic Network on Teacher Education and its members. The conference takes place 15-18 May 2021 and it will be held mainly online.

The UNESCO Chair in Reorienting Education towards Sustainability has released the second report on Good Practice Examples using Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in the global research project. The University of Lapland participated in the data collection as lead of the UNITWIN/UNESCO Network on Teacher Education.
The UArctic Thematic Network on Teacher Education held a dissemination symposium in connection with Arctic Science Summit Week 2021, which was organized this year between the 19th and 26th of March online
